In Philly, 2019 first-round pick Andre Dillard appears to be the heir to Peters on the blindside. His presence and upcoming ascent to a role starting week-to-week could be what is preventing Peters from heading back to the Eagles as of now.When you look acro s the NFL landscape, however, starting tackle jobs are few and far between. Plenty of teams addre sed that specifically at the draft, with the 49ers trading for veteran Trent Williams along with the Giants, Dolphins, Jets, Browns, Vikings and Buccaneers all selecting tackles at key points over the three-day period.If no starting job pops up for Peters over the next few weeks and/or months, one would think that a return to Philadelphia as a veteran backup behind Dillard grows more probable.
