Growing up in a tough neighborhood, surrounded by pressure to prove ourselves, we had to learn to be tough. But even then, something was missing. In our teens, we both found Christ. It wasn't easy. There were times we felt lost, times we questioned everything. But our faith gave us the strength to stand our ground, to choose a different path. I remember when we got baptized it still took us a while to leave our old behaviors behind but thanks to pastor Lealand Henry may his soul (RIP)..... for not giving up on us and allowing us to be a part of something great which was the NWC Steel Orchestra which was also the beginning of our transformation. Now looking back, we see how God's hand was guiding us all along. If He can transform our lives, He can do it for anybody, and everybody, We hope our story encourages you to seek your own path to faith and discover the strength within you.
