In the bustling city of Bangalore, where urban life often demands a sanctuary of peace, "The Jade & Grey Home" stands as a testament to thoughtful, family-centric design. This 2400 sq. ft., 3BHK duplex project, meticulously crafted by the visionary team at Studio Ipsa, was designed for a young couple, their 10-year-old daughter, and their visiting grandparents. The core brief for this project was to create a space that was not only cozy and functional but also a haven of tranquility, unburdened by clutter. The design philosophy was centered on harnessing the home’s greatest asset: the abundant natural light streaming in from the expansive balcony and large windows, transforming every corner into a bright and airy space.

The entire design narrative of the home is a harmonious blend of two primary elements: a deep-seated client love for neutral, soothing grey tones, and a desire for vibrant splashes of deep jade. This color combination is the soul of the project, lending the home a sophisticated yet organic feel. The design aesthetic is a refined mix of contemporary modern, organic, and industrial elements, creating a look that is both relaxed and effortlessly elegant. A subtle yet powerful design language is introduced through the consistent use of curves, which soften the edges and add a fluid, natural rhythm to the interiors.

The journey into the home begins at the foyer, where a stunning pastel blush cabinet with natural wood grain and brass fittings welcomes you. This piece, with its intricate cane webbing cut-outs, is set against a backdrop of striking black fluted wall panels, immediately establishing the home's contemporary-meets-classic vibe. The living room is the heart of the home, featuring a breathtaking double-height backdrop composed of fluted and flat panels that draw the eye upwards.
