The Colts and the Texans have both been scrapping to overtake the Jaguars in the AFC South over the last month, but they couldn't quite do it on Sunday.Indianapolis and Houston both played in the 1 p.m. ET window of Week 16. With a win, either of them would have momentarily leapfrogged the Jaguars in the standings; that advantage could have lasted if Jacksonville fell in an interconference clash with the Buccaneers.Instead, both the Colts and Texans came up short of their goals. Indianapolis struggled against a reeling Atlanta squad that had lost five of its last seven games. The Colts weren't able to force the Falcons into any turnovers something that had become customary for Indianapolis' defense so that allowed Atlanta to operate a balanced, efficient offense in a 29-10 Falcons win.Meanwhile, the Texans couldn't contain Joe Flacco and the Browns' offense. He threw for 357 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in a 36-22 victory during which Amari Cooper caught 11 pa ses for 265 yards and two scores. Houston, without C.J.
