Florent Malouda is a 27-year old left winger born in the French Guiana. Currently he plays for Chelsea FC but just like his fellow teammates, his future remains uncertain following the sacking of Avram Grant and most of the coaching staff. Malouda started his profe sional career at Chateuaroux in 1996, left for Guingamp in 2000 and joined Olympique Lyon in 2003. This was arguably the defining moment of his career which earned him the reputation of a great left-back for the French persistent Champions. For Lyon he made 138 Max Schuemann Jersey appearances and scored 25 goals. It was during his time at Lyon that Malouda was noted by the French manager, and earned a call-up to the senior French squad. He made his debut in the match against Poland on the 17th November 2004. At the end of the 2006/07 season, Malouda requested that he leave the French club and set his heart on joining Chelsea. The bid accepted by Lyon was around 20 million. He joined the club on the 8th July 2007. In the 2007/08 season he scored twice in 20 appearances.
