However, it certainly seems like Rodgers will either return for one more season with Pittsburgh or retire. If Rodgers returns, the are in pretty good shape. The team added wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. this offseason, and pairing the new addition with D.K. Metcalf is intriguing. However, the team could Rajon Rondo Jersey still use more depth at receiver, and one analyst has an interesting option for the team- Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham hasn't played in an NFL game since December 2024. The receiver sat out the entire 2025 season and last started a game in the 2023 season. However, Beckham recently appeared in the Fanatics Flag Football Cla sic and wowed with his performance. As a result, believes Beckham could be a good fit in Pittsburgh. If Rodgers ends up returning, then this move could have some legs. Due to Beckham's age, being a No. 3 receiver probably makes the most sense and that's exactly what he would be in Pittsburgh. The Steelers already have DK Metcalf and they just pulled off a trade for Michael Pittman, so this is a situation where opposing defenses would be worrying about those two guys, which could potentially open the door for Beckham to have a solid season if he were to sign with the Steelers. As Breech mentioned, Beckham has recently stated that he has talked with Rodgers about teaming up. It would also be a nice landing spot because there wouldn't be much pre sure on the aging receiver. In Beckham's last season, in 2024, the receiver caught nine pa ses for 55 yards. The year before that, in 2023, Beckham played in 14 games for the and caught 35 pa ses for 565 yards and three scores. It's been a while, but Beckham has eclipsed 1,000 yards in five separate seasons. The receiver earned Pro Bowl nods in 2014, 2015, and 2016, and was at one time one of the best receivers in the league.
