head coach Nick Sirianni stopped short of guaranteeing that star wide receiver A.J. Brown will be back with the team next season. Browns future Shaun Anderson Jersey in Philly has been a consistent source of speculation, and while Sirianni made it clear that he wants to continue to coach Brown, he cant make any promises regarding what the front office will decide to do. "Will A.J. be here next season? I think we're still in a spot, like, I can't guarantee how anything is going to play out into next season. I'm thinking I'm going to be the coach next season, but you can't guarantee anything past tomorrow," Sirianni said, via . " Yeah, my expectation is he wants to be here. And obviously you want good players like that in your building. As Howie [Roseman] said, it's hard to get good players in this league. A.J.'s a great player and A.J. is a good teammate and A.J. is a good person. Does he want to be here? Yes. Do I want him to be here? Yes." More : That quote from Roseman referenced by Sirianni was from last month after the Eagles were defeated by the in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. Its hard to find great players in the NFL and A.J.s a great player," in response to a question about the Eagles potentially looking to trade Brown. "I think from my perspective thats what were going out and looking for, when we go out in free agency and the Draft, is trying to find great players who love football and hes that guy. So that would be my answer. Allow us to read between the lines here for a minute. Basically, it sounds like the Eagles like Brown and would be happy to have him back in the fold next season under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion. But, that doesn't mean that a trade involving the star receiver is completely off of the table. If an intriguing enough offer comes along, perhaps the Eagles would indeed pull the trigger. One thing is for sure. These recent comments from Sirianni aren't going to do anything to silence the speculation regarding Brown's future with the Birds.
