Cameron Jordan is a legend, and his NFL career isn't done yet. What's le s clear is whether he'll spend more time with the Saints or go elsewhere. Jordan is a free agent still as of Thursday morning. as its 22nd-best free agent remaining as of Thursday morning, and their ranking blurbs suggest Jordan still has a clear role in the league. "With the physical profile (6-foot-4, 287 pounds) to play as a 4-3 edge, and the movement ability he showed on the tape this past season, Jordan can be helpful even if it's in a rotational role," ESPN writes. MORE: Jordan is an eight-time Pro Wendell Carter Jr. Jersey Bowler who has spent his entire career with the Saints. New Orleans took him with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft out of Cal. Jordan will turn 37 in July, but he's coming off a season in which he had 10.5 sacks, his most since 2021. He has played 15 seasons for the Saints, a total of 243 games. In that time, Jordan has 132.0 sacks and 763 tackles. He has forced 17 fumbles, recovered 12 fumbles, defensed 67 pa ses and snatched three interceptions. Jordan is clearly a player that Saints fans would be excited to have back, and given his locker room presence, Jordan would be a big guy to bring back in a lot of ways. This is probably his last chance to go after a ring, though, as well, and so maybe Jordan looks elsewhere. Either way, it's incredible that he can still make an impact in the NFL at this point in his career. But as that ESPN blurb suggests, Jordan has an obvious role. He just needs a team to fill it on.
