The former first-round pick recorded 50 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles in 17 games with New York. At the time, it seemed as though the Oregon product was quickly ascending to super stardom, but his next two seasons were relatively disappointing. Thibodeaux finished with 53 total tackles, eight total tackles, and one forced fumble in 22 games, which was largely due to the Thousand Oaks, California natives injury struggles and technical pa s-rushing i sues (he relies heavily on strength rather than a sound technique to reach the backfield regularly). That said, the potential is there with Thibodeaux, and with a change of scenery and a refined skill set, the ex-All-American could be a resounding statement in 2026-27.
